New charges in LI crash that killed cop

COMMACK, Long Island Jose Borbon was ordered held on $1 million bail after pleading not guilty Thursday n Suffolk County Court in Riverhead to vehicluar manslaughter and other charges in an 8-count indictment.

Prosecutors say Borbon had a blood-alcohol level more than twice the legal limit when he collided with Suffolk County Police Officer Glen Ciano in a February crash in Commack (KOH'-mak).

Attorney William Petrillo says Borbon had a green light and believed it was safe to proceed.

Borbon is due back in court on June 23.
