Lost UK military disks had sensitive data

LONDON Details of the memo published Monday show the lost disks included answers to vetting questions about drug abuse, extramarital affairs and the use of prostitutes.

The memo was released to Britain's The Guardian newspaper under freedom of information laws.

Britain's defense ministry declined to confirm the precise details of the lost data.

It says there is no evidence the data is in the hands of criminals or enemy forces. The ministry says it took action to protect individuals deemed at risk.

The disks went missing Sept. 17 from RAF Innsworth, about 113 miles west of London.
