PATH service restored

All PATH service was restored after suspensions due to a fire in Jersey City. The fire was in the main PATH control center at the Journal Square Station.

All PATH service was suspended as firefighters put out the blaze.

It was described as a small electrical fire. No injuries were reported.

PATH, short for Port Authority Trans-Hudson, links New Jersey and Manhattan and carries about 250,000 people on an average weekday.
