911 call offers details into NJ slaying

June 11, 2009 4:27:30 PM PDT
One of three men charged in New Jersey with killing a woman on Memorial Day weekend threw up and cried for hours before telling family members that he had "strangled a girl" and "smashed her face in." Gary Wilson's stepfather revealed the details to Bridgewater police in a 911 tape obtained by the Courier News of Bridgewater.

James Keigler told a dispatcher on May 24 that his 26-year-old stepson had returned home, seemingly "a little bit drunk" and claiming "that he's killed somebody; he's killed a girl."

Keigler told the dispatcher didn't know who the girl was.

Wilson, Rocky Ditaranto and David Granski Jr. are charged with aggravated sexual assault and felony murder in the death of Carolyn Stone.

The 45-year-old mother of three was the girlfriend of Granski's father.
