A convicted sex offender in New Jersey is under arrest and charged with molesting a boy.Police say 60-year-old Louis Masino, a registered sex offender, sexually assaulted a 4-year-old.

Masino is forbidden from having unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18.

Parole officials reportedly went to his Washington Township home and found him alone with the boy. Both were only wearing shorts, according to police.

Masino, who is classified among the highest-risk sex offenders under Megan's Law, is being charged with two counts of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

He is being held on $225,000 bail.

The boy's caretaker, who knowingly dropped him off in the care of a sex offender, was also arrested and charged.

According to the arrest affidavit, the child told prosecutors that Masino handcuffed him behind his back and that, while he was taking a nap with the suspect, his clothes were off and he was scared. Masino reportedly told authorities that he touched the boy inappropriately.
