Searching for suspects in Jersey City shooting

Police are hoping a sketch and surveillance video will lead them to the suspects who shot a worker at a Jersey City oil change business. Police released a sketch of one of the suspects who they are looking for.

They were seen fleeing the scene in a red vehicle.

Officials believe the suspects shot the man at the 30-Minute Oil Change on Broadway just before 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

Eyewitness News is told he was shot in the arm and chest and rushed to Jersey City Medical Center in critical condition.

Authorities said he is expected to survive.

The suspect, armed with a shotgun, fled the scene.

The victim was shot during an apparent robbery attempt as he opened the business.
