Alzheimer's patient missing in NJ

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP Julia Madsen was last seen Thursday, when she went for a walk on the beach in the South Seaside Park section of Berkeley Township in Ocean County, where she is a summer resident. She was reported missing that night when she failed to return home.

The 72-year-old Madsen, who also lives in Clifton, is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, white pants and white sneakers, and had a silver bracelet on her left wrist and a silver watch on her right wrist.

Anyone with information on Madsen is asked to call Berkeley police at 732-341-6600.
