Tree on track causes NJ Transit delays

NEW JERSEY Gladstone Branch service has been restored between Bernardsville and Summit stations, subject to delays up to 30 minutes. Customers traveling to/from Gladstone, Peapack and Far Hills will be accommodated by bus to/from Bernardsville.

Repairs to the wire at Far Hills are going to take some time, so service will remain suspended west of Bernardsville for the foreseeable future.

Customers advised to seek alternate transportation. Lakeland Buses are cross honoring.

A large tree fell into the wires over a NJ train, cutting power to the train. Customers were being held on the train.
