The victim told police the group repeatedly kicked and punched him in the head, face and chest.
Keating was listed in critical condition at the hospital on Monday.
Police say the 30-year-old was hosting a 4th of July party when he was viciously attacked.
Keating's sister told us that the gang attacked her brother after he pulled his car into the driveway.
The teens ran off when the victim's mother came out of the house claiming to have called police.
Investigators were back at the Keating's home on Monday morning. Eyewitness News was there when they took a young man into custody. Investigators will only say he was being questioned in connection with the crime. Why he showed up at the victim's home is unclear.
"I just heard he was at the scene. Don't know who he is," John Keating, the victim's uncle, said.
Detectives were looking into whether the attack was racially motivated.
