Lawyers: Jr. Gotti has kidney stones

NEW YORK The defense has filed court papers trying to get Gotti freed on bail while he awaits a September racketeering retrial.

A hearing was scheduled Wednesday afternoon.

In a previous get-out-of-jail bid, they said the Gambino crime family heir is an educational achiever. He scored a 3.5 grade point average when he took college classes in an upstate prison.
