The victim was walking home after going out for a bite to eat when she was brutally attacked.
"I'm scared now," Yonkers said Tameka Gittens said.
Young women in Yonkers are looking over their shoulders, knowing that two vicious rapists are still out there.
"I try to keep a phone in my hand so I can call someone," Melissa Arroyo said.
Just before 1:00 a.m. Thursday, a 28-year-old woman was alone, walking home from McDonalds. Police say when she got to the 100-block of Radford Street, she was grabbed by two men. One had a gun and the other had a knife. They dragged her into a basement laundry room, where she was raped.
Before leaving, the attackers stole the woman's pocketbook. She bravely walked to the nearest police station and reported the brutal attack. She was treated at St Joseph's Hospital.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 5-2, 170 pounds, in his early 20's wearing a white shirt, dark baggy jeans and a black hat.
The other suspect is also Hispanic, also 5-2, but with a slimmer build and was last seen wearing a black hat.
