Ed found a pearl in one of those clams, but not just any pearl.
He found a purple one. The odds of finding a purple pearl are one in two million making them very valuable.
A Florida couple found a smaller purple pearl last January worth 25-thousand dollars.
Ed must still get his pearl appraised to learn how much it's worth.
He has promised that if the pearl is worth a million dollars, he'll give his boat to Joey.
In the meantime, Joey says taking a closer look at the clams before he gives them away.
