A man being robbed turned the tables on four suspects -- grabbing their gun and shooting two of them, one fatally ? in what appears to be a targeted home invasion. Police say the suspects burst into the man's apartment on Bussing Avenue just before 12:15 a.m. Tuesday.

They held up the occupant of the home, until he grabbed the gun from one of the suspects.

Eyewitness News is told he shot two of the men, and one was pronounced dead in a front entranceway.

The second, a 28-year-old man, was shot in the back and the head. He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in stable condition.

Officials say two other men fled the scene. No arrests were immediately made.

The man being robbed, who rents the apartment from the homeowner, is being questioned.

A quarter pound of marijuana and firearms were reportedly recovered in the apartment.

He was not injured.
