Woman killed in New Jersey house fire

One woman was killed in a third-alarm fire that burned through her home in Bloomfield Wednesday morning.The fire broke out inside the Bessida Street home just after 4:10 a.m. The flames tore through the roof of the building.

It took several hours to get the flames under control. Two firefighters were injured.

After hours of searching through the debris, the body of a resident was found. It is believed to be a female resident of the house who was unable to escape the flames.
