Michael Bastardi, Jr., talks to Eyewitness News

YONKERS Here is the full transcript of the interview:

Mike Bastardi, Jr.: It's disbelief right now. How someone could jump in a car put five kids in the car and drink? We want to figure out what happened.

Burkett: Did you have your suspicions?

Bastardi: Absolutely. I mean blaming signs and blaming this and that, it didn't make sense from the beginning. Something caused her to do that, now we know. She got on the ramp, cars were pulling over, beeping the horn, trying to warn her. You keep going?

Burkett: Is there anger, now?

Bastardi: I'm kind of numb right now. Anger, yeah, there's anger there.

Burkett: Do you have concerns that other people might have known?

Bastardi: How could other people not know? You have five kids supposedly leaving a campground, or wherever she was coming from, from the morning to when the accident happened at 1:30. These are all questions that my family wants to know. We want to know the truth. I am sure there's more information coming.

Burkett: If someone else knew, should that person be investigated and prosecuted?

Bastardi: I leave that to Westchester DA. I think that anyone that knows, contributed to this, should be brought to justice in one way or another.
