Long Island teen fatally stabbed

Police on Long Island are investigating an incident in which a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death after two men started yelling at him and a friend. Nassau County police say Zach Rosales of Westbury was chased down and stabbed around 10 p.m. Friday. He later died at a hospital.

Rosales and the friend were walking in Westbury when they saw eight men standing on a corner. Police say two of the men began yelling at them. Police say Rosales and the friend felt threatened and began running.

Police say the friend was slightly hurt. He did not require hospitalization.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the stabbing to call their hotline, 800 244-TIPS.
