Bouncer fatally shot outside bar

Police are searching for the gunman who opened fire outside a New York City bar, killing a bouncer and wounding two others. The shooting happened in front of Forbidden City on Avenue A and 13th Street in the East Village.

Police say after a doorman threw two men out of the bar, they continued fighting with another group.

According to investigators, one of the men walked over to a waiting van, got a handgun and started shooting.

A 42-year old bouncer, identified as Eric Pagan, was fatally shot in the head. Another man was struck in the stomach and a third was hit in the hand.

Both survivors are in stable condition.
