The couple have no children. They lived in the middle-class enclave of Bulls Head on Staten Island's West Shore.
Police are investigating what led to the deaths.

Man kills wife, cat, self on Staten Island
STATEN ISLAND Fifty-one-year-old Karan Pizon was found Thursday on the living room
floor of the home in the duplex. She was pronounced dead at a
hospital. Her husband, 51-year-old John Pizon, was found in a
bedroom with a gunshot wound to his head. A handgun was near his
body.
