Two young boys who vanished while rafting in southern New Jersey have been found unharmed. The 11-year-olds had spent several hours Friday on the Wading River, a tributary of the Mullica River in Burlington County, but apparently got lost and then failed to show up at a prearranged meeting site.

The mother of one of the boy's reported them missing around 8:45 p.m., and a massive search was soon launched by state troopers and park rangers.

The boys, identified only as Stafford Township residents, eventually were found around 4:15 a.m. near the river banks in Washington Township.
