Possible Bronx hate crimes investigated

BRONX Police are searching for 4 to 5 male Hispanics who they say were involved in three separate incidents.

Police say on Sat. Aug. 29th two victims were approached by four men who shouted anti-Mexican slurs at them, chased them, and assaulted them.

The following day on Sunday a 53-year-old victim was approached by five males who shouted anti-Mexican slurs, assaulted him, and stabbed him in the torso. The victim was treated at St. Barnabas Hospital.

On Monday, police say a 47-year-old male was approached by several male Hispanics who shouted anti-Mexican slurs at him and assaulted him. That victim was treated at Lincoln Hospital.

The incidents are being investigated by the NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force as Biased crimes.
