Four people were being treated, and one of them was in cardiac arrest. He was rushed in critical condition to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The fatality was identified as 37-year-old Nelson Aguilar.
The other three, young girls ages 16, 14 and 14, were not seriously injured. The man who died was reportedly riding the jet ski with his daughter.
It is not clear what caused the collision.
