Mugger uses mace to rob

The hunt is on for a bandit using mace to rob people in Manhattan. In three cases between August 16 and August 30, the suspect approached the victims, threatened them with mace, removed their personal property, and then fled on foot.

Two of the incidents happened at 418 E. 17 Street in the Meat Packing District. Another one happened in West Village at Commerce Street and 7th Avenue.

All of the incidents happened late at night.

The suspect has targeted both men and women.

He is described as an Hispanic man, 25-35 years old, 6'0"-6'2", and built large.
