NJ holds homeland security conference

JERSEY CITY, N.J. Homeland Security Undersecretary Rand Beers and New Jersey Gov. Jon S. Corzine will join authorities to discuss regional catastrophic planning, the mix of crime and terrorism in cities, and the challenges of securing mass transit networks and ports.

The conference is being held at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City.
