Vigil for man killed near grandma's home

NEW YORK The watch for 21-year-old Glen Wright began at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the East Harlem Tutorial Program, where Wright worked and volunteered.

Relatives have said Wright was taking a break from helping his grandmother wash windows when a group of men attacked him on Saturday outside the Baruch Houses in lower Manhattan.

He was stabbed in the neck and died Sunday at a hospital.

The family says it was a case of mistaken identity.

Police on Tuesday said the killing may have stemmed from a dispute between Wright and a 20-year-old man who has been arrested on a murder charge.

Relatives say Wright cared for a younger brother with Down syndrome.
