He climbed out of the crib and wonder into the street, where police say he was found by a neighbor. When the neighbor rang the door bell and got no answer, they called police. Constantino arrived at her home 20 minutes later. Police arrested her on the spot. She is charged with endangering the welfare o f a child.
The boy and his 10-year-old sister were placed in the custody of the City Administration for Children's Services. The girl was not home, but in school at the time of the incident.
