Bloomberg chopper lands in wrong spot

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. It involves a privately owned helicopter, apparently leased by Mayor Bloomberg. The chopper pilot had never flown to Giants Stadium before and accidentally landed in a shuttle bus parking lot at the stadium.

State troopers told him to leave the area.

The chopper returned to New York City to pick up the mayor.

Bloomberg was flown to the correct area and took a short drive to the concert, where his arrival was announced by Bono.
