House fire in Ossining

Nine residents of an Ossining home have been forced out by an early morning fire. The members of two families escaped the flames that tore through the Broad Avenue home just after 4:00 a.m.

They were not injured.

The residents of the house that burned and a neighboring home were left homeless.

One firefighter was taken to Phelps Memorial Hospital with an unknown injury.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
