Police: Driver clocked at 113 mph

SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. They say the man was reeking of alcohol early Tuesday after he finally stopped his vehicle in the center median of Route 27. The speed limit in the area is 55 mph.

Police say the suspect had a DWI conviction within the past 10 years, making the new charge a felony.

He was held for arraignment at Southampton Town Court on a DWI charge and other traffic violations.
