They are very serious; and life threatening; Anorexia has the highest death rate of any mental illness. The physical complications can be terrible,. Early osteoporosis, reproductive health problems, kidney or heart failure, problems with the esophagus etc.
Are these mental or physical illnesses?
They show themselves in both ways, but they are biologically based - people born with the gun, life pulls the trigger...
