Wake for girl killed in alleged DWI crash

October 14, 2009 9:51:46 AM PDT
A wake is being held for an 11-year-old killed on her way to a slumber party during an alleged DWI accident. Lenny Rosado, a grief-stricken single father, has been handing out fliers inviting the public to attend the wake for his "Little Angel," Leandra.

It will be held Wednesday and Thursday at Redden's Funeral Home in Manhattan. Her funeral Mass will be Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. Bernard's Church.

Authorities say Leandra was among seven children in the car when a friend's mother, Carmen Huertas, drove about 80 mph and rolled it over early Sunday on the Henry Hudson Parkway.
