Gas station attendant, 47-year-old Mumu Yakupoglu was working behind the counter when two men took out a shotgun.
Yakupoglu grabbed the 12 gauge shotgun from the men and chased them out of the store.
He had been robbed twice before and said he didn't think and just chose to act when faced with the shotgun.
The two would-be robbers fled the scene.
Nassau County Police say they always tell victims to just hand over the money, and say it is very fortunate that Yakupoglu was not hurt.
