NE Corridor delays due to signal problems

October 24, 2009 6:31:56 PM PDT
Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Line service is subject to delays of 1-2 hours in both directions due to Amtrak signal problems. Trains are moving at reduced speeds.

In at least two locations, tree limbs are leaning on signal lines, causing the outages.

All NJT buses out of Port Authority are cross honoring rail tickets.

NJ Transit is telling riders to seek alternate forms of transportation as they assume the delays will continue for the rest of the night.
