Amnesia teen heads back to Wash.

October 26, 2009 5:44:53 PM PDT
The Kitsap County sheriff's office says the case of the missing teen with amnesia is strange, but not criminal. Detective Scott Wilson says he's still curious how Kacie Peterson got from Washington state to New York City. But now that Peterson has been found and identified and is known to be safe, what happens next to her is up to her family and New York authorities.

The New York City police say Peterson's case has been referred to the Administration for Children's Services. And that agency said Monday that Peterson is still in New York and they won't be giving out any information about her case.
