NYPD sign defaced with KKK

New York It happened two months ago at the 32nd Precinct in Harlem.

Someone allegedly wrote "KKK" on one of the signs.

The officer complained to NYPD's Office of Equal Employment Opportunity, which initially said the incident did not meet their criteria for investigation.

Members of the Harlem community objected, and the EEO office reconsidered and is now investigating.

Black Law Enforcement Alliance will hold a news conference to discuss the incident. They don't believe the EEO office investigation can be thorough because they initially blew off the incident.

Additionally, two black female officers in the precinct claim they had derogatory statements made against them. The Black Law Enforcement Alliance is also calling for investigations into that.

The NYPD is reviewing the entire matter and did not have an immediate comment.
