NYPD's most wanted caught in N.C.

The NYPD's most wanted man was arrested in North Carolina Sunday.Rasheem Williams, an alleged subway serial robber, was captured by authorities in Rocky Mountain, North Carolina.

Cops say Williams approached his victims on subway trains, told them he was armed and then demanded their bank cards, pin numbers and cash. He was being sought by cops for at least 14 incidents on trains in the Bronx, Manhattan and Brooklyn. None of the victims was seriously injured in any of the incidents.

The first incident happened on January 5, 2009 just before 9 p.m. on a southbound B train at 145th Street and stretched until August 15. In the latest incident, which happened at just before 4 p.m. on the F train, the suspect displayed a knife and robbed a 35-year-old man.
