A spokesperson for the building says more than 220 couples have been married at its annual Valentine's Day tradition, which began in 1994.
The Empire State Building has partnered with the Knot.com for this year's event.

V-Day weddings sought for Empire State builiding

Participants must submit their love stories, photos and reasons
for wanting to marry at the legendary landmark by Dec. 9. Fourteen
couples will be chosen based on the originality and creativity of
their entries, as well as their links to the iconic building.
