A drunk driving arrest on Long Island on Saturday morning could become one of the first cases prosecuted under the state's new Leandra's law. When cops arrested 36-year-old Ivan Llagzha for drunk driving in Patchogue early Saturday, Suffolk County police say his 5-year-old daughter was in the car and not restrained in a car safety seat.

Leandra's law was named after 11-year-old Leandra Rosado, killed in a drunk driving accident last month.

The law, signed this week by Governor Paterson, makes it a felony to drive drunk with a child in the car.
