Two NJ teens burned in an explosion

TOMS RIVER, N.J. Toms River police say the incident was reported around 8:30 p.m. Friday. It occurred near their home in the East Dover section.

Police Chief Michael Mastronardy said a 15-year-old boy was flown to the burn center at Temple University in Philadelphia. His 19-year-old brother was flown to the St. Barnabas burn center in Livingston. their names were not released.

Information on their condition or the extent of their injuries was not immediately available.

Police and sheriff's officers were investigating.
