Tenants in two different apartment buildings are out of their homes today-- forced out by an early morning fire in Harrison, New Jersey. The fire reportedly broke out in a four-story apartment building on Franklin Avenue just before 5:30 a.m.

The blaze quickly spread to a similar apartment building next door.

Eyewitness News is told the buildings were evacuated. Firefighters were pulled out of the blazing building to fight the flames.

No injuries were immediately reported, but dozens of residents have been displaced.

Harrison Avenue, just west of Schuyler Avenue, was shut down.
