There was a traffic mess for drivers at the outbound Lincoln Tunnel Monday afternoon after a tractor-trailer overturned.Lanes heading out of the Lincoln Tunnel were closed in Weehawken as a result, and delays are backed up into New York City.

On the New York side, car traffic was being diverted to the Holland Tunnel or George Washington Bridge and only buses were allowed into the Lincoln Tunnel. The inbound lanes were slow with rubbernecking delays.
