Friday, they found a Hispanic man who had two gunshot wounds to his arm.
Detective Todd McClendon says the man was taken to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
McClendon says investigators do not yet have a suspect or a motive for the crime.
The homicide marks the 78th this year in New Jersey's largest city, up from 67 last year.
