Several residents -- including a young child -- were rescued from an East Orange apartment building fire. The fire broke reportedly out inside the four story South Munn Avenue building just before 4 a.m.

Eyewitness News is told the fire broke out in the trash bin, spreading smoke through the building

Firefighters carried out a four-month-old baby, and then helped a woman down a ladder.

Officials say one of the residents was taken to the hospital.

Residents of the fourth floor were evacuated while firefighters cleared the structure of smoke.
