Two suspects got into a shootout with police officers, who apparently interrupted their robbery in the South Ozone Park section of Queens. The men were reportedly robbing a woman on 133rd Avenue when police rolled up just after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Authorities say the two suspects opened fire, and officers returned it. No one was hit.

The suspects then fled in a white Ford Focus, with police following. The getaway vehicle crashed into a parked car at the intersection of 119th Avenue and 153rd Street.

One man was taken into custody, while the second got away.

Charges are pending.
