Lottery officials say the jackpot for Wednesday's multistate Powerball drawing has grown to $115 million annuity. Wednesday's drawing will be the first one involving New Jersey, New York and Connecticut lottery players. The states started selling Powerball tickets on Sunday.
Powerball is now available in 41 states, as well as the District of Columbia and Virgin Islands, with drawings held on Wednesday and Saturday nights at 11 p.m.
All three states are already part of the multistate Mega Millions game. It's drawn on Tuesday and Friday nights.
