He was to be arraigned in state court in Brooklyn on rape, sex abuse and other charges. Prosecutors did not have the name of his lawyer.
Authorities say the sex crimes began in 2005 when the girl was 10, and continued until last spring.
The 29-year-old Jacques joined the force in 2008, and was assigned to a housing project patrol. He was suspended without pay.
