Police said shortly before 4 p.m., the woman was crossing the street on 2nd ave. near 23rd st. when the snow plow on the street was getting ready to clean out snow in front of bus stops.
The MTA truck with plow attached struck the woman, and witnesses say the driver was distraught after the incident.
