Philly-Trenton Amtrak service resumed

PHILADELPHIA Amtrak suspended service on the four tracks that serve the two cities after a New Jersey Transit locomotive engine caught fire Saturday. Amtrak spokeswoman Karina Romero says service on two of the tracks resumed a few hours later.

New Jersey Transit spokeswoman Courtney Carroll says all 62 passengers were "safely evacuated", although one was taken to a hospital for possible smoke inhalation. The train was going from Atlantic City to New York City, when the engine caught fire at Morrisville, Pa. The cause is under investigation.
