Diamonds on the ice: Rockefeller Center proposals

Proposing marriage is a lot of pressure. This Valentine's Day some brave men piled it on by popping the question in front of crowds at one of the most famous spots in New York. They took their sweethearts to the Rockefeller Center Ice Rink in midtown.

Couples skipped to the front of the line and spent a few minutes alone on the ice before the would-be grooms got down on one cold knee.

Happily, there were no reports of anyone saying no.

After taking a victory lap, couples celebrated the moment with a champagne toast at the Rock Center Café overlooking the rink.
