Female jogger struck and killed in New Jersey

BAYONNE Police say the driver lost control while passing a Daily News delivery truck, stopped on Avenue A just after 5 a.m.

The driver of the Ford Explorer apparently struck the female jogger and overturned, crashing into several parks cars.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Eyewitness News is told the driver of the SUV was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
