There is still no word on what sparked an early-morning fire that killed a couple and their young daughter in New Jersey. Flames erupted in the family's two-story home on Pine Hill Road in Toms River Saturday morning.

The emergency call came in just after 6:30 a.m.

A police officer discovered the husband's body just inside the front door. When firefighters arrived and reached the second floor, they found the daughter's body under a bed and the wife's body in a bathroom.

Police have not released their names.

Autopsies were being performed Saturday on all three victims, Mohel said, but it was not known when the results would be released.

Neighbors said the family had lived in the home for about three years and were friendly, but mostly kept to themselves.

Mohel said the home sustained significant smoke and fire damage.
